The Project

Time to announce the new purchase. After my Cannondale Warranty post I’ve decided to stay with my beloved Cannondale but not to purchase a through a “Cannondale recommended retailer” as the warranty is a maze of words and broken promises. I turned to the trusty eBay. Yes it’s a one month old System Six in the “Team Health Net presented by Maxxis” US based team colours. At a mere 40% of the Australian asking price I figured it’s about what they are worth for a frame with no warranty. The frame pictured below has arrived in from the US in and outstanding time frame of 8 days and will now be united with Campagnolo she deserves. It’s a pity about the one sticker on the rear that references to and American based component manufacturer but this will be covered with a Campag Sticker.

I’m currently waiting on the last two components to come in the UK and US before the build will begin (Deda bars and Stem). The BB adaptor required to run a 68mm bottom bracket has been installed in preparation for the build.
