The Phoenix, aka: “Director Sportif”

A Team manager that’ll have youo ride until you drop and then make you walk home. From the old-school where breathing throught the eyeballs is all there is. Failure is not an option! Race tactics and times will be set prior to race day.

Rider Profile:
Coach to the stars (Southern Stars). Multiple IronMan competitor and years of experience under his belt.

The silent achiever with the ability to never stop.

Non known to man at this stage.
Sueby, aka: “The Engine” - Team Leader (oh God help us now)

![]()
Rider Profile:
The only female representative in the team and “WILL” destroy most of the other team members on her bad day out on the bike, yet another Multiple IronMan and ‘IronMan Hawaii’ Finisher. Recently took out Triple “GOLD” medals in the Pan Pacific Masters Gold Coast 2006 in the following events, Time Trail, Road race (40k) and Crit.
For more info on Sueby have a look at the following profile details on “Southern Stars Tri”
Strengths:
Never stops training. As a Uni student with a sponsor that any Pro would love to have, Sueby tends to train and rest when others are work.
Weaknesses:
Prefers to DNS than get out of bed for most events her sponsor entries her in.
Princey, aka: “The Mechanic”
Current Argus time set at 3:45 (ave speed required is 29.1km/h)
Revised after seeding to 2:50 (ave speed of 35km/h would be a walk in the park)
Lead up training: Secret base camp in Peru (riding in the Andes for preperation)
![]()
Rider Profile:
Called The Mechanic due to Princey’s unique approach to monitoring the backwheel and running gear while sitting in the draft waiting to make his move.
Strengths:
Doing a Cadel Evans in the bunch, he’s there but you’ll never see him in the front. Unlike Cadel he tends not to come to the front on the Mountain stages to take the KOM points.
Weaknesses:
Green Tea, Has a 10% handicap (his wife says it’s mental but the doctors say it’s physical) I tend to believed it’s 5% of each and a perfectly normal bloke.
JB, aka: “The Un-Coachable”
Current Argus time set at 3:30 (ave speed required is 31.2km/h)
Lead up training: See training page (I’ll never be ready!)

Rider Profile:
A man too tall (198cm) to ride a bike but tries anyway, dead ringer for “Brad Pitt”, with 200mm custom cranks and every other gadget known to man. If it can’t be downloaded, upload or broken then there’s no point having it.
Strengths:
Expert in downhills and tail winds and back drafts (Vegetarian powered Sphincter Turbo), Ability to rest and recover.
Weaknesses:
His Idea of training is watching a cycling DVD. Prefers to be called a fat sprinter than a climber, Suffer saviour allergies to hills, Bread & Cheese (Cheese for Sphincter Turbo).
