60k’s This Morning
Had a quick roll out this morning and knocked off just over 60k’s, It’s been well over a week since my last ride and heading up the first short sharp pinch from home had me thinking… it’s time to head home. For the first time in a long while it was a cool morning with clear skies.
Wynnum / Manley on this morning’s ride
Headed down to Wynnum and then back into the city. Stopped off at Murarrie to watch the lads do the usual Saturday morning crits. The bikeking.com.au boys where on the attack in the A-grade race.
After leaving the Crits with a few other riders… let’s just name them as per their club names or main kit sponsors, “Mr FFast”, “Mr Velo”, “Mrs FFast” (may not be married to Me FFast in this cast, just same club kits on) “Dr Spoke” and myself! About a kilometre down the road “Mrs VirginBlue” catch’s us at the lights. Now Mrs VirginBlue was out training behind a scooter. Well it was on for the draft back into town behind MR Scooter, I’m at the back with the Nokia in hand tearing off a few quick pic, of which the best is below.
