Rain hitting the ground in the afternoon again, although the sun was shining in the morning, please reference to "The weather Man is a Idiot" post as the rain from the night before had once again disappeared over night. Not a bad thing as I needed a rest after the training session yesterday.
Today was a one hour session again. The aim was keep the HR under 145 and cadence had to remain around 90rpm. Taking it easy was today’s option as it’s a turnaround day… meaning I’m doing a morning road ride in about 12 hours which requires me to take it easy today so the boys don’t drop me tomorrow. The session went to plan, Ave speed was 28.4km/h and HR was well down.
Cadel Watch Part 3

Silence – Lotto team launch is done and dusted, Looks like the team is built around Cadel this year from the article on cyclingnews. In my opinion I hope that this is the case, I doo see Popvych being the be all and end all of help for Cadel in the mountains. They will need at least two more climbers to shield him once the roads head to the skies. Only time will tell, this Sunday is Cadel’s first stretch of the legs in the Ruta Del Sol in Spain, can’t wait to see the man in action again.
